Awards are granted to graduating high school students based on their academic achievement, financial need, and contributions to the community. Eligible students must have maintained a grade average of 85 or higher throughout high school. Elementary School Grant Program Grants are available to young men and women of Italian descent who will be entering grades K through 8. All grants awarded are for three years with the exception of those for seventh graders (two years) and eighth graders (one year) Franco Zeffirelli Scholarship for the Arts This fund supports graduate-level students of Italian descent who have shown talent and a commitment to the arts, a field overlooked by many organizations that support education. Recipients are selected by a private committee. High School Fund Grants are available to students of Italian descent who will be entering ninth grade, who intend to attend a private school that will provide them with the academic skills necessary to enter college, and who have maintained a grade average of 80 or higher.
