Opening a private facility using only solar or wind energy is a great, green idea. Check into solar grants, Federal and State, to help pay for installation costs. You’ll be saving money and doing Earth a favor by using renewable energy!

If you can prove the good use for it, you can go to http://www.grants.gov They ofcourse require you to write a proposal about your idea to fund your project.

Check the database of state incentives for renewables and efficiency at http://dsireusa.org/ There is info here for incentives at the local, state and federal level. I have also been looking for grants, but have found that most of the incentives and/or grants are for businesses and we do not qualify. I would be happy to email to you all the website urls that I have, please email me if you want those.
