Our old neighbors have moved to New Zaeland and are hoping to use government solar grants to install solar panels. They said they’ve read there is a government grant of $1000 available for anyone planning to undertake this task.
But what will the entire job cost them, does anyone know?
It would be for a three-bedroom house, single story, on a hill.
I’d love to see comments on this if anyone has any thoughts!!

$1000 + 385 (tank & thermostat) + 1900 for panels + 95 an hour to hook up. Plan to set aside 200 per year to adjust the thermostat and solar transformer.

Hell, how do I know what the costs are in New Zealand. I hardly know what it will be in Germany, and that is even quiet different from county to county.
