“I have a need to put my children, all under age four, in a private schools and was told there are government grants out there to help fund the costs. I’ve tried researching it, but haven’t found anything that deals with private school or religious school funding. Also, I haven’t been able to find a place that doesn’t want to charge you just to find out the details of the grants.
Where can I search for accurate and free grant applying services?
Any information you can provide is much, much appreciated!!!!”
Try www.fdncenter.org — they have a free section with information on scholarships for individuals.
The White House started a program for faith-based funding, but I haven’t heard about the program lately. However, try www.whitehouse.gov to see if it’s there.
And of course, FAFSA is the first resource I would look to find any type of grant/scholarship money.
