I heard from a friend that his brother and he both attended private religious universities and both received Pell Grants and financial aid
i want to attend a christian college or and i need financial aid, should I use the FAFSA or should I go for federal grants directly? Any other tips for getting a christian grant for education purposes?

Yes you can. My brother and I both attended private universities (one Lutheran and one Catholic), and we both received Pell Grants and financial aid after applying for the FAFSA.
