Our community was considering installing solar panels on one local home as a demo for other new home buyers in our area, to show that they are not complicated to install and that the benefits are huge. Because it’s a community effort, we’re going to check into solar grants or private sponsorship to help cover costs. Recently a man emailed me asking about the availability/criteria for obtaining a solar grant for installing solar power energy to his home to reduce the costs of heating water. He lives in the Malaga Province (Axarquia region) of Andalucia, Spain. He thinks this will be an excellent place to utilize the power of the sun! Using grant money to help pay for something like this is well worth looking into. Imagine being handed money to help make the world a better place!

A friend was asking me about solar grants in the UK to get solar panels installed.
I did some research, and solar grants in the UK do exist, and should cover about a thousand grand, so I told him it depended on how much he expected to save. There are also other grants for offered to people who install other efficient appliances.
