This is an interesting video showing how Solar Vacuum Glass Tubes (SVGT) absorb solar energy, converting it into heat for use in water and air heating.

Interesting video showing a demonstration of a solar powered water pump by New Mexico Solar Energy Association, an organization that relies on solar grants and donations.
This is an interview with Grant Vospher, who was a rep for Sun Utility at the time this interview was taped. He demonstrates various solar photovoltaic energy devices for the home. I would love to hear comments from people who know of how to get solar grants for any of these products.

A $30 million grant for education pledge to help educate children affected by conflict, especially in Iraq and the Occupied Palestinian Territory, was announced at the Clinton Global Initiative today.
The education grant was announced late this afternoon as part of the Clinton initiative’s Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, co-chaired by economist Gene Sperling and actress and advocate Angelina Jolie. “Over 20 million children of conflict are out of school,” said Ms. Jolie. “Education is often forgotten.”
With this support, UNICEF is working with Microsoft, the International Rescue Committee and Hewlett Packard to help 150,000 children through a distance-learning project in conflict areas.
I'm a music producer based out of L.A. I've got some credits to my name but i'm really trying to expand. I decided to make it official and get my production company incorporated. I'm debating on getting a business loan so i can launch the company the way it needs to be done. Can anyone make any suggestions for making this a reality ? Where can i find loans? Can i get grants?
No.
I'd like to see some samples or a general outline for reference before I begin writing my own. I am applying for a Pell grant to go to IT school and am having problems finding books at the library or websites dealing with non-business related "letter of intent". Someone please HELP. Thx.

Go to the school you want to attend and they will direct you to the right financial aid path. You will definitely need to fill out a FASFA so go ahead and start that. (not too bad, but a lot of tedious info). Deadlines for financial aid are coming up, so if you are planning on going back in the fall, i would get started now.
Grants are given on to those with lower incomes. I don't know what you income is, but if you make a decent living, you might not qualify for them. BUT, you will be able to get federal loans, which are at a fixed rate. The subsidized loans are the best to get because the government pays the interest while you are in school. Again, your financial aid office will be able to help you more with that.
Be careful of continuing education classes, as they may not be covered for financial aid at your school; it varies…
Good Luck! I love hearing people say they want to go back to school
